1995 Buick Roadmaster Roadmonster Description

With much regret I must put up for adoption my lovely Roadmonster. Before you get too excited, ask your mechanic what a new radiator and water pump would cost. This is the very desirable “Buillac”, the Buick built with Cadillac taillights. 5.7L SFI LT1 V8, commonly known as the Corvette engine, goes like a bat outta Hell! Plus, the LT1 350 is famous for decent mpg. Oblivious to speedbumps. Super smooth on the highway like any Roadmaster except the extended wheelbase makes it even smoother. Complete and unmolested except there’s a CD player where the ashtray was. OEM radio with its nice big clock is in use. Includes 5 nice Buick rims from a 96 Roadmaster wagon, plus the full size spare on a steel rim that it originally came with. 4 new tires are less than 1000 miles old. Remind me to try and come up with the rest of the rustoleum hammered finish black paint that I used on the rims. Includes a class III receiver so you CAN take it with you. This is the last model year before OBD2 so exempt from emissions testing.

Reason for selling? Radiator weeps, should be replaced. Water pump leaks at times, should be replaced. AC compressor seized and pulley is noisy. There may be other belt driven components screeching. Plus the wife isn’t digging it anymore.

Other stuff you’ll notice: The power driver side mirror (from a 96 wagon) is the wrong color. Car originally came with manual mirrors and the left one was in bad condition. Now it has one power mirror but after reassembling the door panel the door closes a little weird. When shifting to reverse, the transmission pauses a moment before you can go. It's always done that and hasn't gotten worse. Otherwise transmission is flawless. The left taillight chrome trim piece doesn’t fit well after upgrading a couple of lamps to LED. If you look for rust, you’ll find it. There’s some cracking visible on some of the fiberglass.
