This car originally came from Texas. The original owner park it because of a transmission problem in 1972. It remained in his garage for several years and then sat along side the house. This 1956 Buick had no body rust at all. I purchased this Buick as a project vehicle and had it shipped up to michigan four years ago. This car has been totally sandblasted (frame & body), primed, and is now ready for paint. 1st coat was Apoxzy primer (black) followed up with 3 coats of sanding primer. There is over 200 hours of block sanding on the entire body-its flat and straight. It has a original (5.3L) V8 Nailhead (322cu) motor thats been totally rebuilt completely-pistons bored out to 60 thousands, new camshaft, lifters, 4bbl intake, distributor, Aluminum intake cover, bearings, rings, timing Chain, complete gasket kit, rebuilt water-pump, stainless steal brake lines, rebuilt radiator, floor pans, new main harness - The engine is painted original green (por-15) and every engine compartment part has been sandblasted and painted.
