1949 Cadillac DeVille Description

Very, very nice 1949 Cadillac convertible.Arizona car (as far as I know) with a beautiful body and very nice chrome.Considering the car is 67 years old and mostly in original condition I would say the body and the chrome is in exceptional condition. The only pits I can find in the pot metal chrome are very few small pits in the hood ornament! The rest of all the pot metal chrome is shiny and pit free and beautiful!
The side trim that so often get rusted from the inside and out on old Cadillac cars is also in exceptional condition.
The Cadillac has been freshly rebuilt mechanically and it is detailed underneath and under the hood. The electro/hydralic power window and power top system was gone through also so the windows and top works fine.
The car is running, driving and functioning as you see it.If you want a show car the paint would have to be redone but the great thing is that the car can be used as it sits now.
The brakes are working well, the white wall tires show no wear, the exhaust is in good condition, all glass is great. The interior is and looks brand new, the top is in ok condition but not new.
I don't think you can find a better, mostly unrestored 1949 Cadillac convertible anywhere.
