Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for auction is my 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV AWD. This Escalade has been my personal car for a few months. I would rate the exterior of this Escalade to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Escalade. It is the long wheelbase ESV model and is finished in pearl white over black with matching dark tinted wheels. The finish has a mile deep shine from front to back and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few blemishes and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Escalade, there is a small scrape on the RF bumper corner, a ding on the left fender and the right door handle is a little loose from age. All in all, not bad for the mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all line up perfectly. All of the factory cladding and chrome accents show well, too. The automatic rear hatch has a sticky spot near the middle as it opens, but closes fine. The only other bad thing I can say is that the drivers mirror is a little loose and doesn't fold right. Again, not a big deal. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The optional xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road. The wheels have Chevy center caps. I'm not sure what they're off of but they look good on this truck. The clear coat on the wheels is showing some age. The tires show average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Escalade to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The black leather seats look great against the pearl white exterior and show well. Throughout the interior, the leather shows hardly any wear and is comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and cooled...the front four seats are heated. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors work properly. My only complaint about the interior is that the screen / entertainment system does not turn on. Honestly, I haven't looked into it. I use my phone for GPS and I am usually preoccupied with other things so I rarely listen to the radio...so the quiet doesn't bother me at all. I can see that this Escalade has the back up camera, factory DVD entertainment systemand probably GPS navigation...but I can't confirm that any of it works. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioning blows ICE COLD AIR and the heater works great. The center row of seats folds down and flips forward with the touch of a button. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The third row of seats folds flat easily, or can be removed for a huge amount of cargo room. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos.
Mechanically, this Escalade appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 6.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I've put the last 2,000 miles (and counting) on this Escalade with absolutely no issues. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. You can hear a little rattle (from the right front swaybar end link, I believe) over potholes or rough surfaces, but it's not a big thing. Steering and braking feel good. There are two idiot lights that come on. One is the airbag light that stays on. The other is the suspension light. Both have been on as long as I've had the truck. Everything feels fine to me so it may just be a level sensor or something triggering the error message. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The exhaust has been upgraded to a Borla system, which has a mellow growl to it. I think I can hear a small exhaust leak up at the donut gaskets, too. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. There is a slight vibration in the wheel around 80mph...but nothing that would stop me from driving it anywhere with confidence. This Escalade has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of March, 2017. I've personally put the last 2,000+ miles on this truck and wouldn't hesititate to drive it anywhere. If you're looking for an older Escalade and are tired of finding nothing but $15,000-20,000 examples on retail lots, this one deserves your serious consideration. You don't normally see these trucks listed with NO RESERVE. It isn't perfect, but I'm also not asking $20,000 for it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
