2005 Cadillac STS Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Cadillac STS4 sedan with just 99k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this STS to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in silver over gray leather interior with polished alloy wheels, which is a good color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this STS, you'd have to be pretty picky to find anything worth complaining about. The silver finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The rear spoiler gives this STS an aggressive look. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory two piece style polished alloy wheels look good on the car and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this STS4 looks.

I would rate the interior of this Cadillac STS to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a few marks from age but are acceptable. The leather seats are clean and comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and air conditioned...all four seats are heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and works through the factory touch screen display. The sound is rich and full, as you'd expect from a BOSE sound system. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's a little cool to get a good read on the effectiveness of the a/c but I can tell you that the heater works properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. The original owners manual and a full set of factory floor mats are included. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.

Mechanically, this STS appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. She makes good power and is a pleasure to drive. The check engine light was on when I got this car. The codes were Bank 1 System Too Lean and Bank 2 System Too Lean. The car performed properly during my road test so I cleared the codes. You can sometimes get codes like this from running out of fuel, which happens frequently at auctions. I just wanted to let you know they were there so you're not blind sided if they come back. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly. All Wheel Drive gives this full sized luxury sedan confidence in any driving situation. This Cadillac STS has a current NJ inspection good through the end of February, 2017.
