Up for auction is a totally rust free 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe that has been born and raised in the state of California unit about a month ago. It is very difficult finding these 2-door tahoe’s in great original condition like this one; especially rust free as most of these rusted and rotted badly. This one has 116,000 original miles and looks like it has 50,000 miles. It has the desirable 5.7L 350 Vortec engine and 4-speed automatic transmission. It does have 4X4 which is activated through a push button. It has newer Z71 wheels with tires which are in OK condition. The engine compartment is clean and literally looks like it did when it rolled off the showroom floor.

The interior is in good condition, the carpet has its shares of stains but there are no rips or tears. Everything inside works and it has power mirrors and power seats. The seats are original and show hardly any wear at all.

The undercarriage is 100% rust free, not sure you will find a more solid tahoe on the market. No rust on brake lines, fuel lines, frame etc.. It’s never seen a wet/salted climate which is why its been preserved so well. It runs and drives excellent, cruise control still works. It has an alarm system which appears to be factory. The power windows work. The side mirrors are brand new. The roof does have some paint defects but it’s nothing you can see unless you stand up and look.
