1989 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 Reg CabUp for auction is a very clean chevy 2500 pickup. Very rare to find a 2500 truck that has not been used as a work truck at some point. This truck was bought new by an older gentleman in March 1989. Unfortunately he passed away in 1992 only 3 years later. His wife kept the truck intheirgarage and she drove it during the wintermonths if it snowed. She stopped driving in 2004 and passed the truck on to her daughter who then sold the truck to me. The truck only has 74,541 miles. The truck sat for a while before i bought it so i have done a few things to freshen it up and make it reliable again. Here are some details on the truck: The engine is the 5.7 350 V8, engine is all stock, new battery, newer exhuast, runs like brand new. Automatic trans that shifts nice and tight, i would drive this truck anywhere. 4 wheel drive, 6 lug wheels not 8 lug. Four brand new all terrain tires. Interior is just about perfect. Head liner is sagging but dash is not cracked, seat looks like brand new, carpets have no stains at all. One of the cleanest 88-98 trucks I've seen. Body is in excellent condition. Original paint as far as i can tell so it does have light scratches here and there being almost 30 years old but still looks great. I would not paint it. The clear coat is starting to haze on the center of the hood (see pic). There is no body damage and no dents. No rust on this truck. The drivers side cab corner is just starting to bubble (see pic) but rockers and behind the wheels is all perfect. Power windows and power locks. A/C works great nice and cold. Truck can sit for a month and fire right up, no smoke or anything. It is garage kept and it leaks absolutely no fluids, my floor is clean. Would make an excellent truck for someone. I don't really want to sell it because i wont find another this clean and i love this bodystyle but work requires me to have a truck no more than 5 years old so this truck doesnt get driven a lot.
