1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

Im selling my 1953 chevy 4400. I have a title card from previous owner that is signed.It has a remanufactured 235 in it that turns over but Ihave not had it running.Lights work for the most part including gauge lights.Blower motor for the heat works aswell.It has rust in all the normal spots but has a great look for a rat rod. Floors, cab corners, kick panels.I have new floor pans for it. It does have a hood emblem on it now. I also have front and rear axles from an early 90s 3500hd so it can have disk brakes all around. Tires are junk but the extra axles have good tires. I haven't started tearing into it yet just seems like I never have the time to work on it. I can send more pics if necessary.

I was informed by someone who ran the vin that there may be some discrepancy on the truck being a 4400. I also did the research and found that in 53 the h in the vin denotes a 3100 series, but from 47-52 the 1.5-2 ton trucks have an extra s in the series. The vin tag also has a 4800lb gvw. So I'm not sure if it is the cab was switched at one point or if it's a left over 52 and they put the wrong gvw plate on it. Just giving all necessary info.

So after a little more research at some point the cab has been switched. The cab is a 53 3100 series cab mounted on a 1.5t chassis with the big truck fenders. Sorry for the discrepancy. Thanks for bidding. Title does match vin plate on cab!
