1997 Chevrolet Camaro Description

I am selling my 1997 Chevy Camaro withonly 154,000 miles and 88,000 on the Transmission. 1997 was the 30th Anniversary for the Camro and the car has 30th Anniversary logs on the sears.

When you come to pick it up, I am happy to give you the opportunity to verify that everything is as described, and take it for a ride prior to paying for it.More pictures below

The V6 has plenty of power at 200 HP and still gets good mileage 19 city 30 highway

The Car Features:

Automatic Transmission

Keyless/ Remote Entry w/ factory alarm

PowerWindows and Locks

Power Drivers Seat and Truck Release

The car recently passed Delaware inspection and is tagged for 2 years inDelaware.

I recently had the spark plus, wires, air filter and oil, wiper blades and front and rear brake pads changed.

Drive train:

The car runs well and has plenty of power. No lights on the dash.

The car shifts like it should. The transmission was recently replaced with a usedtransmissionfrom a car with 88k original miles. I have the documentation. The fluid and filter were changed at time of installation.

Interior:

The interior is in good shape overall. The dash pad has a few cracks, see picture. Typical problem with these. The drivers seat has couplecigaretteburns. The car does not smell likecigarettes! I am a non-smoker and do not smell it, but must have been owned by a smoker at some point in its life. The sun visors arefunctional, but not in great shape. The headliner is good overall but coming off around a little around the t-top opening. Couldprobably be glued back on.

The power windows and locks work. Someone did put a screw through the master window switch bezel to hold it down (wasn't me). Radio works and sounds good, but is missing some knobs. Typical problem with these radios.

Heat/AC:

A/C is not hot but not cold, may need re-charge.

Exterior:

The front bumper and hood were repainted. While they were repainted to the factory color (Mystic Teal Metallic), the color is a good but not perfect match to the rest of the car, possibly due to difference in age of paint with rest of car. Please see picture. Going down the road, from a distance, you do not notice. Standing in front of it, with good light, you notice. The front bumper is also slightly mis-alignedwith the hood (see picture), should be simple adjustment. There is a scrape on both quarter panels, please see picture. The rear bumper is a little faded. I have not tried waxing car, might help some. The rest of the body is good, couple minor dents, nothing major. Looks really good for 20 years old.

Tires: The car needs tires and an alignment. The tires are all holding air, but are dry rotted. I would not feel safe driving the car very far until the tires are replaced. if you are coming more than 20-30 miles to get it, I wouldrecommendbringing a trailer rather than driving it.The passenger rear wheel has some curb rash.

I am happy to show it to you and let you take it for a drive. It is tagged and insured. I am in Dover, near the Air Force Base.
