1988 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado Sport Utility 2-Door 5.7L
1988 Chevrolet Blazer Description
here we have my personal 1988 k5 blazer, ive owned it for about 3 years, it started off as the typical tbi 5.7/700r4/np208 truck, it ran ok but I had a totaled out 04 Tahoe and decided to do a full swap, it now has a fuel injected 5.3/4l60/np208, I bought a full wiring harness and computer off the internet, its unlocked with a obd2 port, has a little check engine light, now it does come on and says knock sensors are giving a fault code but the truck runs great so I havnt messed with it, its been about 2 years since the swap, I drive it everywhere, just recently hooked the a/c back up, I bought a new compressor, drier, lines, and a new condenser, blows great now, does kinda blow threw the floor and the vent at the same time but cools great, ive done so much its hard to remember it all, new stereo, speakers, amp, sub, new 6 inch lift and new bfg mud terrains, 35x12.50x15's, new fuel pump to handle the high fuel pressure, Camaro exhaust manifolds, new flowmaster exhaust, basically its as close to stock as an 04 Tahoe can be, nothing aftermarket except the air breather, front and rear diff's have been gone through, new 4.56 gears, eaton locker in the rear, drivetrain the truck is great, nothing I havnt addressed, now the ugly part is the exterior, it needs paint pretty bad, its dented, paint peeling and faded, a small rust hole in the drivers rocker, but honestly it doesn't bother me, I have nice painted vehicles that I'm scared to drive for fear of scratching up, not this truck, I drive it to work almost every day, yes its old, yes there are still things that could be fixed or painted or cleaned but its not a show truck by any means, if you have any questions you can call or txt me anytime, I'm Andrew 662-614-6422, thanks for looking!! It is for sale locally also so if its sold I will close the auction.
