1989 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Silverado 1500 Description

This is a 1989 Chevy Silverado 4x4 long bed pickup. It has been my personal truck for the last 13 years. We just have way too many vehicles, and it's time to get rid of some. It is equipped with a small block 350 cu in, which by the way, two years after I bought it I rebuilt the original engine. The transmission has been changed out to a 400 Turbo at the same time I rebuilt the motor. So far, as of today, I've only put less than 3,000 miles on the motor. I didn't use it much because I kind of saved it for really bad weather, and I had another newer truck to drive. The truck has always been inside. I sold my shop now that I retired, so I don't want to see it sit outside. I still try to keep it in as much as possible. This truck has always been faithful - starts every time, I change oil and filters regularly, and I put in a new battery about every 2 1/2 years (it has a new battery in it now). The air conditioning has never given me any trouble. It always works. I have brand newMickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. They don't even have 500 miles on them. The seat has a little rip in it, as you can see in the pictures. All the gauges work. It's been a really good truck for me. I hate to see it go. It will make someone a great ride.
