1966 Chevy Caprice (Impala interior)

I am the third owner of this car. It spent most of its life in California (I have some documentation from the original owner). I rescued it over a year ago and was surprised on how solid this car is! I replaced the entire interior, vinyl top and front windshield, due to the harsh California sun. (Carpet, backing, dash pad, head liner, door panels/rear panel covers, head liner, recovered seats and more). I went with the impala style because I liked the look better than the cloth Caprice look.

This car is solid and very original. (NO ROT ANYWHERE)!

It has a small dent above the passenger rear wheel (see pic). And a small hole in the right rear corner (see pic). I’ve included an original replacement corner if the new owner does not want to repair the current one.

The engine is original 327 High Output and very strong. Does not burn oil, starts and runs excellent (like new). The smog pump was removed by the 2nd owner (but part is included with car, see pic). This car was an original 3 speed manual on the column. The second owner Installed a 4 speed on the floor but, had the good sense to replace the 3 speed column with the proper 4 speed steering column.

Again I can’t stress how solid this car is, in and out! The paint is original and sun faded. I left it original to show how solid the car is with no major metal work necessary. It can be sanded and painted or just clear coated depending on the look you’re going for. The parts shown in the pictures come with the car. The car originally has 14 inch wheels. However, I am including 4 Chevy 15 inch rally’s with center caps, original chrome wheel trim, original AIR pump, original spare tire (14”) rim and jack base with J bolt.

This cars next owner will not be disappointed! Bid with confidence! You won’t find a more complete clean car for the money. I have a low reserve on the car. Must sell because moving to downsize (as a lot of Baby Boomers are doing!) and have no room. Feel confident to bid as you will not be disappointed!
