1999 Single Turbo Corvette Convertible 1000+ HP NO RESERVE
1999 Chevrolet Corvette Description
I am selling one of my babies.. I have a 1999 corvette convertible I have owned for the past 12 years. The car is HEAVILY modified from front to back. Some mods include: LME build 402ci LSX fully forged motor, trick flow heads, Precision 8884 (88mm) ceramic ball bearing turbo with their proprietary wheel ($4k for turbo alone) fully custom one of a kind single turbo set up designed and built by RLD fabrications. DTE stage 5 rear end with cryo treated 3.9 gears, DTE stage 4 6 speed transmission, SPEC dual disc clutch, ron davis radiator, custom intercooler, 1000cc injectors, custom fuel system from ECS supercharging, methanol injection from ECS supercharging, no expense was spared on this build. You are going to ask me how much power it makes, and the honest answer is I have NO IDEA! The car has a "mail order" tune in it from Doug at ECS. He looked at the car and its components, and said 800 horsepower at the tires is a given, and 1000+ in "certainly within reach". It is tuned enough to run/drive, but has not been dialed in for power. The car has around 250 miles on it since the build, (enough to work the bugs out). I have over $75,000 in this car (my problem not yours), but that will show the quality of the materials it has invested into it. Also included with the sale are two sets of wheels (chrome z06 style with 6 tires), and a CCW "drag pack" with numerous tires, (26" slicks, 28" slicks, misc other street/slick tires included). I am selling it because I have started a family, I now have two children, a wife, and I'm building a new house. I have lost the "urge" to go out and raise hell on Saturday nights, (which is what this car was built for). I am selling this car with NO RESERVE, and it WILL sell to the highest bidder! I am ultimately looking for a cash sale, but I would CONSIDER partial trades for a ridiculously over powered off road toy (R1 golf cart/side-by-side?) .. ANY and all potential trades MUST be discussed prior to auction ending. If you win the bid, and try to trade something "off" the price, I will tell you to pound salt! You are welcome to email me, but be warned, I am building a house, and am not checking email anywhere near regularly. You will be much better off calling me at 607-624-2796, my name is Dave. you can call anytime, but ideally 9am-5 pm, or 7-11pm eastern. I'm sure I am forgetting things in the listing, and I'm sure you have questions! Don't be afraid to call!
