This is going to be a tough one to try and describe how new this van is without you just seeing it first hand but I'll try and do it justice. Read on for a full description. Here's a little background story about the van. We purchased this pristine van locally from the family that's owned it for the last 14 years. Garage kept, service pampered queen of a conversion van that they considered part of the family. Their kids grew up in this van, from grade school and all through college this van was used for family vacations and to get to those important college sporting events. After talking with the owner for a few minutes and him sharing some stories I began to realize how much this van meant to his family. Every time the van had a hiccup, he took it the shop to get fixed. He didn't want to get stranded on vacation somewhere so he did all the prevented maintenance he could. The transmission had a tickle in it that the shop couldn't even diagnose it was so small but he said fix it and that's just what they did. Rebuilt the trans to OEM standards. They just got back 2 weeks ago from a final family trip to OBX before they decided to sell it since they don't use it much anymore. This van is new in every way imaginable from the paint, graphics, underneath, carpet, seats, wood, steering wheel and even the tires.
Mechanically this van runs out great. 5.7 V8 sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Trans shifts like new through all the gears. Drives excellent down the road. Front end is as tight as can be. Like new Michelins all the way around with 98% tread left. Brakes feel good. Has a good PA inspection. A/C is cold. Everything about this van has been well maintained and serviced and you can definitely tell. Not a better running or driving 99 out there.
Cosmetically this van is in immaculate shape. Garage preserved paint shines like the day it left the showroom. Hasn't been painted or buffed. Everything is all original. All the graphics are still intact and haven't been damaged by the sun which is near impossible on a 99. Not even 1 door ding to mention. Only flaw on the exterior is one that I pictured on the lower door bottom in the rear. Just a flawless van all the way around. Interior is as fresh as they come. Seats are mint and show no signs of wear. Carpet is in great shape with no crumbs or stains of any kind. Literally looks like the day it left the showroom. This is how they cared for this van for the last 14 years.
So if you want the newest conversion van for sale that's reasonably priced and one that's been babied inside, outside and mechanically than there is not better van out there for sale than this one.
