1973 Chevrolet Corvette BASE CAR Description

A $100.00 Deposit is due through Paypal with in 24 hr of end of auction.I bought this car as a project car last year. With the exception of a few short weeks. This car has been stored inside since 1996. It was a 20 year unfinished restore that was damaged in a garage fire. . "IT HAS A GOOD TITLE'. The exterior has blisters in the paint in several places. you can see them in the pictures. I was going to repaint the complete car. The 350 engine has an Edelbrock intake, Carb and Aluminium Valve Covers. It has Stainless Steel headers with new 2 1/2 inch exhaust and Mufflers . The Transmission is a close ratio 4 spd. with a Hurst short throw shifter. I have the original is you want it. I have replaced most of the fuel system. Tank, Fuel pump. hoses. The Rear Differential and all components of the rear drive have been replaced or rebuilt. It has new Brake Rotors, Pads, Calibers and Master Cylinder. The Battery was replaced when I bought the car. The Tires and rims were new sometime during the restore process. They have less than 1500 miles on them. I had a 4 wheel alignment done when I got the car on the road. The Tech at the Chevy garage told me the car runs straight down the road with only normal vibs. He inspected the the Frame and found it to be sound. What he could see of the Bird Cage looked good with very little surface rust just starting. All of the windows work and all are in good condition. The front Bumper cover is missing. The bracket to attach it to the body are still on the car. Some of the interior door hard ware is removed, but is in the car. Both dr and pass interior door panels have damage. They are both vinyl overlays and the heat cracked them at the top. I think with care they can be repaired. The wiper motor is not in the car. I have it. all the heat defrost cables work. the blower motor does not come on. and surprise the horn doesn't work. The reserve is not very high for what this car is. it drives great for a 73 Corvette. Don't bid unless you plan on buying the car. I have lost my place to work on it. and inside storage has become a problem. I think this car is still worth $4500. But it needs to find someone who has the time and place that I no longer have. good bidding. This auction will tell me if I am right or wrong. If you have questions, ASK!
