1998 Chevy Silverado 3-door Extended Cab 4WD Z71 pickup for sale.
The pros:
New 5.7L, 350 long block V8 and water pump installed in 7/2014, with a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty - still has 9 months left - approximately 30k miles on the new engine.
Replaced A/C compressor last year. 10/2015
Replaced front grill, bumper 6 months ago.
Almost all the exterior lightbulbs have been recently replaced, including headlights.
New rear driveshaft u-joint. 3/2016
Replaced flex plate (flywheel). 10/2015
New driver side window motor and switch. 10/2015
Rear windshield and both rear windows were replaced approximately 7/2014
New stereo and front speakers - it has bluetooth and a mic for hands-free telephone talking or streaming music from your phone.
AirRaid 360 degree cleanable air filter.
Bed liner installed - not spray-in.
She's 4WD.
She has a strong transmission.
She runs like a scalded dog.
The cons:
4WD system needs work - sometimes it locks in, sometimes it doesn't - might be the transfer case, but have no idea really.
There's a problem with the fuel system - check engine light comes on and off - possibly the fuel tank evaporator, or the filler tube.
Tailgate handle broken - tailgate still opens though.
Power door locks don't work, need new switches.
She's got scratches and dings everywhere, and the hood is faded heavily, old grey cloth interior with some (what I assume are) cigarette burns - she's ugly, a work truck, or a project, not a show truck.
