1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Description

1996 was the final year for the C4 Corvette, and Chevrolet ended the run with a bang by producing 1,000 Grand Sport models. This one is number 964. While something of a throwback to the GT racers of 1963, it presented a great combination of styling and performance that looks as good now as it did 20 years ago. You can't miss a 1996 Grand Sport, with its magnificent Admiral Blue paint (only available on the Grand Sport). And of course there are the white racing stripe, red hash marks, and rear fender flares to really make the car stand out. Speaking of standing out - there are also special black aluminum wheels (17x9.5" front, 17x11" rear) patterned after the ZR1, with 275/40ZR17 tires on the front, and big fat 315/35ZR17 tires in the rear! Yes, stock rims and tire size.
LOW RESERVE!This beautiful example has 133k miles, but could easily pass for 33k miles! It is completely stock, except for the complete Corsa stainless steel exhaust (original exhaust hanging up in garage), and has nice options including the Z51 performance handling package. This is the rarest options of the black interior cars - only 190 (w/black interior) Grand Sports had this option! Sure to hold and gain the most value of all the other suspension options. It has been garaged kept most of its life, and well cared for - in excellent condition throughout. I bought the corvette from the original owner in Michigan, and only drove it to car shows with my dad (he has a 63 split window). The original owner drove it to work every night (midnight shift) 40 miles to and from work via highways. *Note - while at his work parking lot, it sat overnight, and during the day it was in his garage. Minimal sun exposure to limit any sun damage. The original owner knew this would someday be a collector car, so he kept the original oil filter, wiper blades, and even the air filter! Complete documentation of all history of any service work is included with this car too.
