1970 Chevy C10 Custom Long Bed "Pro Street" Show Truck, Auto, 454/427 Specs
1970 Chevrolet C-10 C10 Description
The speedometer cable is not hooked up. It needs an appropriate gear to match the rear axle gear ratio. As such, I do NOT know the true miles on the truck or on the build. But it is obvious that it is verylow miles since the build.
There is nothingwrong with any of the main mechanical systems of this truck.
I received this truck in a trade arrangement. So I know very little about the truck. I do have a small loose leaf binder with some info about the builder and so forth. It will be included in this Ebay sale.I have driven this truck approximately50 to 75 miles. And it is surprisingly very smooth considering the power of the engine. This truck starts and drives great!!! I simply have no use for this truck.
Here are two YouTube videos that show a lot of details inside, outside, and underneath this truck. One video also shows the truck being started and running. These videos are part of the description of this truck. And you need to view them to see the many details of this truck.
The first YouTube video was taken on November 6, 2015.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upMVGX5GNYs
The second YouTube video was taken onApril 30,2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxOLh056ObY
This build has approximately $30,000 in new "parts"!!!Over $5,000 in new parts in the engine!! Plus over $23,000 in new parts in this truck!! Plus labor...plus professional custom paint job...plus original purchase price...plus new tires, etc. Easily a $40,000 plus build!
AWESOME POWER!!!!!! 1970 Chevy C10 Long Bed "Pro Street-Show Truck" with blue printed and balanced 454 built to 427 specs, similar to a 1969 Corvette...plus nitrous!!! Originally a "rust free" California truck that has under gone a complete "frame off" restoration. All of the "rust free" sheet metal is original except for the two "new" front inner fender wells. Virtually "everything" on, in, and under this truck is "new", NOT simply cleaned, painted, or covered up with rust proofing!!! Paint is like a mirror with very few nicks and scratches...super smooth and shiny! Stored inside since build. This truck was built as a "true" show truck. And it shows!Again, there are "NO" mechanical issues that I am aware of. The truck starts, runs, stops, and shuts off the way it's suppose to. This truck is a blast to drive! And it gets a lot of attention!!!

BAD: This is the way I received this truck in a trade.
...Very minor accident damage to the passenger front fender. "NO" hidden damage!!! It's hard to see, but it is clearly visible in the first two pictures I posted and in the YouTube links above. The passenger front fender needs minor realignment/adjustment to get the gaps proper again. The actual fender damage is minor and a very simple fix for anyone knowledgeable in basic body work.Once repaired, you can either match the existing paint job. Or add some additional flames (or other design) over the top of the existing paint work...just enough to cover the repaired area. For anyone with experience in this type of work, it's really quite easy. I use to do custom body and paint workin my younger days. But I do not have anywhere to do it now. Otherwise I would fix it myself.
...Small minor dent (2") on the driver's side rear corner of the cab. Visible in YouTube link above....There is a new radio in the truck. But there are no speakers installed yet...The horn does not work. I do not know why....The turn signals do not self cancel....Speedometer cable needs proper gear for speedometer to work proper....This is minor stuff. But I am disclosing everything I know about the truck in good faith.
