1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Description

Up for auction is our 1965 Corvair Corsa 180 HP Turbocharged Convertible with a 4 speed manual transmission, Power Convertible top and factory spare tire lock. This little Cora is in pretty nice condition, being nearly 51 years old. It appears to have been repainted years ago and has some minor rust issues that are normal for these Corvairs. Floor pans are solid as is the trunk floor although there is some surface rust scale on the trunk floor, but still solid. I believe the engine is original as the codes line up with what would be correct. Brakes and battery were replace by the previous owner sometime just before we purchased the car in April of 2013. Tires are in good shape with not much wear. The interior appears to be original with some tears in the passenger seat as shown. The top is not new and the rear window zipper is broken, but the plastic window is pretty clear and not yellowed. The car runs and drives real well and is surprisingly pretty peppy even though it shows over 74,000 miles on the odometer. I cannot prove the mileage is original, but it appears to be about right with the overall condition of the car. Too many other projects have prevented me to do additional work to this Corvair or drive it as much as I would like to, so it is time to pass it on to some else to enjoy and care for properly.
The engine does leak a small amount of oil and I do not think it has been ever rebuilt. A recent compression test showed 95 to 120 pounds of compression dry and with oil added the cylinders went up to 110 to 130 pounds. The YH Carter side draft carburetor was rebuilt last year. It is a 1962 carburetor with bigger 1964 jets. A correct late 1965-66 YH Carter carburetor that has not been rebuilt is included in this auction. New A/C Delco 44FF spark plugs were just installed as was points, condenser, rotor and distributor cap. The distributor looks to be recently rebuilt too. The Corvair also has a NOS muffler just installed.
There are some spare stock hub caps along with the original spinner wire spoke hubcaps and some other spare parts that will be included with this auction. The car can be inspected locally near Dowagiac, Michigan by appointment. Serious bidders can request more photos.
Finding a convertible 1965 or '66 Corsa Turbocharger car is rare indeed. Finding one with a power top, original spinners, a 4 speed, and a factory spare tire lock is even rarer. I have set the reserve price to a reasonable level which is much below the value of this car. The seller can end this listing early as it is for sale locally.
Please ask any and all questions before bidding. I can store the car for about one month if need be, but not after that. I can work with the buyer's transportation company too. I encourage a physical inspection of the car. I try to be correct in stating the condition, but it is a 50 year old car and there certainly can be issues even I do not know about.
Thanks for looking and good luck in all of your bidding on EBay!

Seller Note: I may be able to have the correct Carter YH Side Draft Carburetor rebuilt and installed before the auction ends. I am trying to have this done if possible. Thank you.

A question on the tire size. The four tires on the ground are Uniroyal Tiger Paw P175/80 R13 869 MS. I added a photo, but I cannot identify the date code. They also have Steel Belted Radial on them. The Spare is an older smaller tire and it holds air well. I also added two photos of the passenger side front fender and rear quarter. They appear solid with no issues. I also have several new parts from Clark's Corvair that go with this car plus a set of nice door vent window assemblies and owners manual, shop manual and other assorted materials. Thank you.
