It starts easily with the battery,but truck also comes with the crank as well as the instruction manual dated May 1,1928. You can be the only one in your city to have this vehicle that looks like it just came from the TV show "The Waltons". Also you can celebrate the 60 home runs that Babe Ruth hit the season before-- just imagine the excitement in 1928. Just a solid machine.
