2008 Chevrolet Corvette Indianopolis 500 Pace Car Description

This is a stunning, low mileage 2008 30th Anniversary Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Corvette. There were 500 built and a copy of the letter of authenticity is included in the photographs. This is 1 of 234 30th Anniversary Indianapolis 500 Pace Cars Coupes produced and 1 of only 77 with the 6 speed manual transmission (35,310 total Corvettes produced in 2008). Also included is a copy of the window sticker which shows all the factory options and that this car was quite expensive when new. You will note that a former owner had the graphics removed, which does not disappoint me as I am not a fan of the Indy 500 graphics. The commerative emblems remain on the seats and on the front quarter near the scoop. They are very tasteful and elicit a lot of comments.

All Pace Cars were equipped with the 436 HP LS3 engines, titanium color two tone leather interior, Z06 spoiler, Z51 suspension upgrade, dual mode exhaust (NPP) and chrome forged aluminum wheels. This one is equipped with the 6 speed close ratio transmission, 3LT interior which brings HUD, memory seats, 8 way power seats, etc. and navigation system. This car also has the optional detachable clear targa roof panel and special embroidered floor and cargo mats.

This is a low mileage car. I am the third owner and the average age of the three owners is late 60s so the car has not been abused. According to the former owners, the car was never in the rain and was always garaged. Unfortunately, on my way home from picking up the car I encountered rain. So, it has seen rain once. It has always been garaged since I have owned it.

I have begun to have knee issues so I need an automatic otherwise I would not be selling. I would be interested in a trade if it is a low mileage automatic coupe – 2008-2010.
