Up for sale we have a 1967 Chevy Camaro Convertible Pace Car. This is a real Pace Car with paperwork to prove it. In '67 its said that there was only 200 of these cars built and only 21 of them were built for Canada. This is one of the 31 that was built for Canada. This car is correct in every way except for the engine. It was a factory 350 car but it now has a 70 Model 396/375 HP. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Pace Car. It has a rock solid body that is laser straight with the fit of the panels being as good as any you will find. The chrome is very good as well as the stainless. This Camaro has the factory RS package along with the SS hood. Everything is covered in the correct white with the Blue pinstripes and all the Pace Car stickers. All the glass looks good as well as the seals and weather stripping. Also, it has the factory dual mirrors. The final exterior touch is the Rally Wheels and the Red Line Tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Camaro. Everything on the inside is done to be correct. It has the blue deluxe seat covers and door panels. When you look at the dash it has the factory Am radio and the Rose Wood Wheel. This Convertible has the factory seat belts as well. The interior as a whole is in very good condition down to the carpet.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the it's powered by a 1970 model 396/375HP engine that has the snow flake Aluminum Intake with factory style chrome valve covers and breather. It's mated to an Automatic Trans and a 12 Bolt Rear End. It has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The exhaust runs through a set of stock manifolds and dual exhaust. When you look under this Camaro the floors and sub frame are rock solid with no visible signs of rust or rot.
This is a car that you don't find every day. We have the paper work to prove that it is a real '67 Camaro Convertible Pace Car.
