1992 Chevy C1500 Short Bed 4.3 Auto

1992 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Description

1992 Chevy C1500 short wide bed. It has the 4.3 v6 engine and 700R4 automatic transmission.
The Good
The Oklahoma Title is clean and ready to go.
The Oklahoma Tags are up to date.
Has very few dents and very little rust except for roof see pictures.
The truck will run and drive at least for a short distance.
I recently replaced the entire front end. It has new Moog ball joints upper and lower on both sides, Moog Pitman and Idler Arm, Ac Delco Inner and outer tie rods on both sides, New Autozone brand brake rotors on both front wheels and new Autozone brake pads. The right front brake line was also replaced.
The radio works and the speakers sound good, the cd player wasn't tested.
The battery appears to be good and would start the truck right up before the starter went out.
The Bad
The truck has around 350K miles on it.
The engine smokes slightly, its not too bad but you can see it at times. I believe the valve seals are bad. This does not seem to negatively effect performance of the engine.
The water pump had a slight leak but seemed to stop leaking on its own. I will include a used and untested water pump if it needs to be changed.
The Transmission has a leak I believe it is leaking at the pan seal.
The Transmission has a issue of slipping sometimes mainly between gears when it is shifting. After it shifts it holds it just has a hard time shifting. I did top off the fluid so I know its not just low.
The back brakes have not been touched and condition is unknown. There are no known brake fluid leaks.
The roof is rusty and the overall paint condition isn't great.
The starter is bad it will start occasionally but will usually not turn over. I will include a extra used and untested starter with the truck.
The front end was replaced but it has not yet been aligned. is drivable but it needs to be aligned before it is driven any distance.
Ac doesn't work fuse has been removed, I don't know why.
This truck has been described accurately to the best of my knowledge, However this truck is old and has 350K miles I could have missed something I haven't noticed. Located in northeast Oklahoma near Arkansas.
This truck is sold as is where is. It is the buyers responsibility to remove it off my property within a reasonable amount of time. I do not believe this truck will make a cross country trip as it sits.
