1970 CHEVELLE 396 4spd Numbers Match Rebuilt Engine Cranberry Red Project car

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Description

Up for sale is a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 4spd 12 bolt with 3.31 posi rear end. Origional color is cranberry red 75 on cowl tag. The Chevelle was bead blasted and had 2 new quarters installed and a new trunk pan put in. Drivers quarter was a NOS gm quarter and passenger was an aftermarket. Here are the bad parts of this project car. When it was bead blasted they blasted the last 4 off the vin tag. The engine trans and tittle are matching number. The frame was also sandblasted after the bead blasting and sand blasting they did not paint the frame or underside of the car and it has a light flash rust on it. There will also need a frame repair done on the passenger side front frame it looks like the battery leaked. I have a frame horn to include with sale. BODY
The body has had quarters NOS GM on divers side and aftermarket on passenger side and new trunk pan installed. There was a patch on passenger side floor pan. The fenders are in excellent condition. There are also new AMD fender extensions included. There is NO hood included in the auction but I have one available see above. I have both bumpers and a spare rear bumper to go with the car. I have steel inner fender wells too. I have all the glass and chrome for the windshield and rear window. Im also including the parts I have for the fiber optic lights that came on this car. Its not set up for it currently to go back on and some parts are missing but what I do have is included in the price. I have totes of lights and lamps and headlight bezels for this that are included. All the SS wheels have the same date code too.
Interior
The interior is black with a bench seat. Seats are in good shape and should clean up very nice. I have the original dash it didnt have a tach. I have good set of new door panels for the front doors. There is no headliner carpet and missing some interior parts or some just need to be replaced but alot of it is usable. I have a tote with all the wiring that came from this car too.
Mechanicals
Engine is rebuilt by T&B of Monroe WI. It was a stock rebuild. Engine code is CTX 350 hp manual trans with tittle matching the sequence number on the pad. I have to cowl induction air cleaner for the motor and carburetor was rebuilt. I dont have the original distributor or exhaust manifolds for the motor. I have the valve covers but they aren't in great condition. Transmission is a Muncie M21 and it too has correct sequence number that matches the motor and tittle.
