2007 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ Sport Utility 4-Door Description

For your consideration today I offer my 2007 Suburban 2500 LTZ. This truck is awesome, one of the most user friendly vehicles I have ever owned. In addition to being one of the best looking burbs you will find and the ultra rare 2500, this one is dressed to kill. It is completely blacked out, all badges removed, and the roof rack is off ( I have it if you want it minus one corner molding) It has a killer set of XD rock star 20 inch wheels with an almost new set of road venture tires on it. It rides nice!! The front wheel well plastics were modified a whisker to accommodate these big tires, they will occasionally rub just a bit at full lock but rarely if the suspension is compressing just right. It has Rancho adjustable HD shocks whichare about 2 years old, they made ahuge difference in this trucks ride.The taillights were replaced with smoked units, the headlights are projector units with angel eyes! It has window visors,a hood deflector,and a bull bar on the front. Unfortunately I hit my trailer with it and dented it in a bit, you can barely see it unless you are looking for it. One of the best features this truck has is a costar bluestar Bluetooth adaptor for total hands free phone use. Your smart phone will work through the factory stereo and have voice recognition just as your phone does, this is priceless in todays world. Also has the super high end BOSE stereo, a custom black grille and the Chevy Bow Ties are all replaced with black. All windows except the front are VERY deep don't (illegal totint front in VT).Interior is as comfy as your living room and probably cleaner. There is one small crack in the leather on the drivers seat where they all do it (photo'd), the center console has 2 very minor cracks in the leather at the rear that are barely noticeable and the dash has 2 cracks in the front valence (pictured) these are a non issue and every 07 on the planet has them in the same place. ThisSuburban has every option including sunroof, rear DVD for the kids, heated seats and enough power to pull a stump.Its a smoking hot looking ride that will tow anything and the perfect candidate for a Duramax conversion which was my plan until I bought a duramax truck. The transmission was replaced with a remanufactured unit 3000 miles ago and has a 2 year 24k warranty because the converter failed at 99000 so I had the coolers flushed and replaced the tranny.
Now the bad. This truck has a gremlin about every 4-5000 miles it will shift very hard on 1-2 upshift. It codes P0011 which is advanced timing, we have replaced every related sensor, replaced the gear drive on the camshaft (professionally) which is the only hard part there is and it will still do this intermittently. When it codes if you clear it with a handheld scanner it goes right back to the beautiful truck it is and stays that way for months, I have had some of the best techs in new England on this issue and nobody has found it yet so I have just learned to live with it.. Wediscovered that this truck acts up right about when it should have the oil changed so now I change it with Mobil 1 every 2500-3000 miles and it runs and drives incredible. I just replaced the plugs and wires and somehow I have a feeing the right side wires have been on the way out contributing to this issuefor a long time, the truck runs better than it ever has now. I am including a superchips scanner in case you have trouble you can do as I have and clear it and be on your way anytime it acts up.The foolish parking sensor message is on in the dash, you can cancel it with one button every time you start the car, its annoying but the dealer couldn't fix it for me so I gave up. There are a few pint blems you should expect on a 2007. A few of the lighter sockets don't work and the coin door cover needs a 2 dollar latch (I never close it) All in all for this vintage the truck is in exceptional condition.
Thisvehicle has been adult owned and cared for. A recent title search suggested the actual mileage is unknown but in todays world that's not likely so my investigation in the state of Michigan determined the truck was repossessed in 2009 or 10 and that washow the court filed the papers in error. (paid DMV for a title search) When I bought the truck 3 years ago I carfaxed it and no such thing showed up so I don't know what to say about it. The car has a clean VT title. The status might show lien right now, I owe a little on it and will have it ready for the new buyer before you get here. This truck was seldom driven in winter, I bought it from Maryland so it hasnotbeenin salt a its life.
This is a very rare truck and probably one of the nicest you will find in 2500 series. It has not been molested or beat up. This is the do all troop carrier or tow vehicle. Other than the shifting which is more a nuisance than a problem this truck has been bulletproof and turns heads anywhere you take it. It is really sharp and the blue is a pretty rare color. This thing is HOT!!
