1961 Chevrolet Corvette -- Description

1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible two top 283c.i. V8 230hp CQ suffix code ( appears to be #'S matching but not guaranteeing) correct carburetor and intake mated to a four speed! This is 1 of 647 produced in "Honduras Maroon" with white coves. This is a older restoration with very nice chrome, trim and interior. The body is very nice and the paint still shows well, but there is some cracking in the lacquer paint on some of the panels. All of the gauge, wipers, exterior lights and blinkers work, and the radio plays, complete steering and suspension rebuild, new front shocks & coil springs, new rear shocks & leaf springs, new gas tank & sending unit and fuel lines. All new brakes - Wheel seals, brake lines, drum, shoes ect. new exhaust with correct tail pipes, generator and starter rebuilt, new soft top, AL Knoch Corvette interiors with date stamp. New BF Goodrich "Silvertown" radials with original hub caps. The clock does not work and the horn does not blow.
