Incredibly meticulous details throughout this 1959 Chevrolet Corvette with less that 2k miles on a full restoration. Rarely do we get the privilege of seeing a restoration taken to this level. Every latch, each gauge, every piece of britework, all of the emblems, the front and rear wiring harnesses, the fuel tank... everything has been restored to the highest standards or replaced with the best quality new items. Both tops, hard and soft have been fully reconditioned and are included in the sale. The paintwork was done in a gorgeous steel gray base/clear finish with ivory inserts. The gaps are correct and the prep work was done right, withstanding the test of time since the restoration in 2007. The car was restored honoring the timeless styling of the '59 Corvette, featuring a few very tastefull touches of modern handling and performance upgrades. Excellent "turn-key" power with a Edelbrock/Webber electronic fuel injected, balanced and blueprinted ZZ4 GM small block 350 V8 with ported and polished Pro Lightning heads, Clay Smith solid lifter cam with roller rockers, a Griffin aluminum radiator, custom headers, Flowmaster mufflers and a Center Force clutch mated up to a Muncie M-22 4-speed manual transmission running back to a rebuilt 3.73 positraction rear differential. Great stopping power with front disk brakes and a modern dual master cylinder. All of the suspension wear items have been replaced along with a new set of Eldelbrock IAS performer shocks. Needless to say, this Vette is an absolute pleasure to drive. With the EFI it always fires up with a tap of the key and has excellent power that will chirp the tires all the way up through a 4th gear shift. The clutch is solid, the shifting is tight, the car tracks and brakes perfectly straight, everything this car did when it was new in 1959, but even better.
