If you like to think outside the box..this is right for you! Huge wow factor with, wide, big, loud and low! This Dually was created 5 years ago with a lot of thought and care for safety and reliability. 2016 drove it 80 miles to the Syracuse Nationals (Right Coast Cars). Won "Best Fab" in the OL'SKOOL Roundup.
The frame has been constructed with 2x4 1/8" steel. The front "Z" members are reinforced 3/8" plate, tubing and gussets. The rear Z is also reinforced with additional plating and gussets. All control arms are connected using a high grade heim joints. The rear suspension is beefed up with heavy duty trailing arms 2x3" 3/8" steel and 3/8 diagonal link bar. All rear connections are massive 1.25" heim joints. The whole suspension is also controlled using a AirRide Technologies RidePRO 4way system with BigRed 3/8" valves, fitting and lines. It raises and lowers very quickly. It rest 1" off the ground and be moved resting on its frame.
The engine is a Cadillac 472 from 1972 Coupe DeVille. New Edelbrockintake and 4bbl carburetor. The water pump has been upgraded to a high flow system to help support the 3 core Griffin radiator extreme cool system. Most of the cooling plumbing is copper Transmission is TH400 from the same car. Its quick out of the gate and runs strong on the expressway (65mph @ 3500 rpm)
The rear axle is a Eaton with juice brakes on 22.5' wheels. 20" in front with Coker white wallsFront axle and spindles have been fully rebuilt.The brakes are all juice and the master cylinders are all new (front) or rebuilt (rear)
