Up on the chopping block is my 2004 silverado hot rod. 2.3L Whipple supercharged, 6.0L LQ4 (like LS2) swap good for 500-600 hp. I ran 6lb of boost. This truck is fully built from motor to transmission to suspension and has some real balls to it. Includes creature comforts like a system and touch screen, alarm, power seats, locks, etc. Over 30k invested. Unfortunately the motor started making noise and after only 30k on the swap, the shop diagnostic from west broward auto repair says it is a worn cam but we wont know for sure unless we open it up. I dont have the time or the tools to manage this anymore so I am passing it along for someone else who can. someone who can repair this themselves will make out big time on this. shop estimate was ballparked 2000-3000. I can put you in contact with them if you would like. or you can run it till it goes and swap another in from your choice of builders. presently runs and drives with no real ill effect other than the noise. parked until someone picks it up.
send me an email and we can talk more. will provide cell # to those interested. I am open to trades; I can add cash or take cash. not looking for another project. spec sheet and updates below:

Pictures, while not anything super artsy, are fresh and without the vehicle being detailed -- just as she sits and how she looks, not sprucing up or alternative intentions. This vehicle is what it is and how it is picture. The body is straight and there is no known structural damage. There are a few dings and some scratches common with a vehicle of this age. The vehicle was in one accident from a prior owner and I have the accident report stating minor damage ~500 to repair front and rear (when they changed the bumpers). Overall the truck is sharp and gets lots of attention everywhere it goes.
Please let me know if you have any questions. available to show the vehicle weekday evenings and weekends. I can make myself available during the work week to finalize a purchase. Cash in person is strongly preferred. Certified Cashiers Check is also acceptable and I will verify funds clear prior to release of vehicle and title. I will make myself available for vehicle pickup (by you or your shipping company. I have used uship in the past. My zip is 33321 if needed for a quote; feel free to post it.
Good Luck! I think this will move quickly at this price. Someone will get a heck of a machine at a fraction of the cost.
