1973 Chevrolet Camaro Type LT Z/28 Description

A real survivor RPO Z28 with the LT package and factory 4-speed, including center console with Hurst shifter. This was the 1st production year for the LT package on 2nd gen Camaros (hidden wipers, sport mirrors right and left, full instrumentation (U14), deluxe seat trim, bright beaded wood grain trim on the instrument panel and doors and LT emblems on the steering wheel, exterior sail panels and front valance.) All black interior. Black vinyl seats front and back. Original rear deck 6x9 speaker grills.

Matching numbers and original factory driveline components: 350 L-82 engine with manual trans, both professionally rebuilt. Original Muncie 4-speed, drive shaft balanced with new u-joints, 3.73 posi rear-end with new bearings and seals, completely restored rear brakes and lines with brand new backing plates and components with oversized “police option” heavy duty 11" x 2" finned drums and high performance Kevlar ceramic shoes. Engine wiring harness replaced. Engine compartment was detailed and painted during engine rebuild.

The car has a new Holley 650 carb right now, but I will include the original factory Rochester Q-Jet #7043213 that was rebuilt and ran prior to the 350 L-82 rebuild. In addition to the American Racing wheels, I also have 4 rally wheels I can include. I’ve installed 1970 RS rear taillights because I prefer the chrome trim rings but will include the original tail light lenses.

I’ve owned this car since 2005 and have worked diligently to keep it factory original with many little replacement parts like hose fasteners, bolts, screws, metal and plastic clips etc… Still some work to be done but this is a solid driver with most of the major work completed.

Paint is very good and shines, interior very good, no rips or tears in seats or console but dash pad is starting to curl up a bit like usual. All wheels and tires good. Have the 1973 Camaro Assembly Manual and 1973 Repair Manual to include.

No low ball offers will be considered. I know the value of this vehicle and the investment I've made in money and time doesn't even come close to the listing price.
