1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Description

Im selling my 1957 2 door hardtop Bel Air, I did a frame off restoration in 1998 and finished the complete restoration in 1999. This car looks and runs excellent as the day I finished the frame off. In 18 years I have put a total of 1880 miles on this car. No one has ever drove this car but me and most of my driving is to a few car shows and cruise nights weather permitting. This car has never been wet other that a few hand washes other that that it is covered and stored in a temp. controlled garage. As stated I started the frame off in 1998 we disassembled the whole car and started on frame. we hammerited the frame with 6 coats and began updating the frame we installed all new fasteners and electrical, gas lines and added disc brakes and all new rubber bushings from PST. Installed 10 bolt post trac rear end with 370 gears and 700r4 built transmission from Wilson transmission with a slight stall. It has BF goodrich 25560R15 TA radials on Crager SS mags. The motor came from GM 502/502 gas aspirated, we installed with ceramic coated headers, the motor sounds and runs great (see you tube video to hear runhttps://youtu.be/_JHGhH3nFuw) This is a great cruising car but it can go FAST. Installing a big block in 57 chevy you have to move the radiator and not run a belt drive fan. I installed a Be Cool aluminum radiator and 2 of there fans side by side. The fans kick on at 195 degrees. The engine was fitted with road rocket set up 2 idlers on passenger side and 2 idlers on driver side with driver side alternator and passenger side air and a Gates micro v belt running everything. I had the car painted corvette yellow and all under the body and brackets and inner fenders and other parts were all painted individually. I used the remote oil filter and cooler system to relocate and increase oil volume and cool for big block. I also had the interior done in a tan tweed with bowtie emblems on doors and trunk and backs of seats. The interior shows no sign of wear. I have 2 loose leaf notebooks with receipts for monies I have spent on car, this does not include the paint and interior work which I hired out. I used the original dash bezel and ordered all new white back gauges that all work and I bought a new radio with 57 insignia from Classic Chevy. Most of the 57 replacement parts came from Classic ChevyI have a photo album with pics of stages of restoration.I have no clue how many hours I have in this car but my reserve is less that the actual cost of the parts. Since I did the frame off and Im the only driver I know everything about this car and could write a book. Its been 18 years since restoration and I find myself with less time to enjoy this beautiful car. If you have any questions give me a call 405-820-1391
