1957 Chevrolet 2 Door 150 sedan
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 150 Description
Up for auction is a 1957 Chevy 150, 2 Door Sedan. This car has been in my family since the early 1980's. During that time, it got a garage style restoration. This was when lead was used instead of bondo and no one was making reproduction panels so you had to fabricate your own. It has then sat since 1987! The car runs, drives and stops. The 30 year old gas was drained from the tank but we didn't chance putting fresh gas in it. So, it currently runs off an auxiliary tank by the motor. Before sitting in the garage, the 350 engine was rebuilt and only has about 100 miles on it. It starts surprisingly well. The best part about the car is that it is all there and shouldn't take much to get road worthy again. The car will need to be trailered home but it will drive up on the trailer. The car had some patching done to it in the early 1980's...please see photos. It still remains a solid car, however.
This 57 has a 350 engine, 4 speed (believed to be Borg Warner) transmission and thought to be the original rear end. Most of the lights work including headlights, tail lights and brake lights and dash lights. The glovebox light even works. I am including an Optima red top battery, so it has a good battery. Please look at all the photos of the car. I do have a video of the car running that I can email or text from 608-434-9231. Car is located near Westfield, Wi. 53964. There is also a picture of the clear title that was issued in 1983. There is a reserve but it is low and realistic.
Buyer will need to PayPal $500 at the end of auction and the remainder will be cash or certified check upon pickup.
