This El Camino runs and drives great. The motor is a 396 from a Camaro. Block casting is #3916323. Engine suffix code T1102IV. The rear end is a 355 12 bolt posi trac. axle #KF0211B. The engine is clean inside if you remove valve covers it is like brand new. When I purchased the El Camino the car was very clean and rust free. Over the last year I have spent thousands of dollars making this car a valuable classic. The body is very nice and straight. There are two small dings, one on the hood and one on the fender. There is a small paint run on the driver side rear light area. The car was already painted when I bought it. There are some scratches and areas that need buffing to be perfect. With a little work and effort on the paint it would be perfect and ahigh dollar Barrett Jackson show car. The underneath of the car is very clean and detailed. I am very picky when I buy any classic and this El Camino is not your 5,000 junker you see advertised for sale. The drivers seat has a few small tears where your pants rub when you get into the car. To see the car in detail please emailme to get photobucket link. Ebay will not allow the un-clickable link I usually post. I have over 100 more photos if you would like to see them.
The last few years I have been downsizing and you cannot buy this caliber of car and take it to this level for my reserve price. I encourage anyone interested to come look at the car themselves. This car has never been in the rain. Here are a list of things needed too make this a show car:
  • Work on paint and bring it back to show level
  • Factor dash tachometer work periodically
  • Speedometer cable makes clicking sound, new one comes with the sale of the car
  • AC was upgraded with new parts but needs charged to be super cold
This car looks runs and drives great. It is also rust free! I am very picky in my description so there is no surprises for the new owner. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. No warranty written or implied. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime for any reason. I am open to all offers. Bid and you will find the reserve. $2,000 is due within 24 hours of auction close. Balance due within7 days of auction close. Car is in a secure facility and nobody will see or touch the car after auction closes. Contact to be made by new buyer within 24 hours of auction close. If you want to see the car in person I will make it available for viewing. When the auction is over the car is covered and locked down for new owner only. As far as trades are concerned, I will consider a part trade on a daily driver that is not too nice to be in the rain. I way over restored this car and spent too much money on it to drive it daily or leave it parked unattended. This is a beautiful investment vehicle. For any further question about the vehicle please contact Justin at justinwillett@yahoo.com. Leave your questions and phone number and I will email or call you back. Thank you.
