61 years ago Elvis rocked and Chevy rolled! The year was 1956 and while Elvis was turning the music world upside down with "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Don't Be Cruel" Chevrolet was turning the post-war automotive world upside down with the legendary TriFive Chevy's: '55, '56 and '57. Nothing says rock like Elvis and nothing says "Hot Rod" like a black '56 Chevy 210 post coupe with all the goodies!
This super straight original steel body was stripped and finished in glistening black and it has it all. You'll ride comfortably on the completely rebuilt front end with tubular a-arms, coiloversand power rack and pinion steering and a 9" Ford rear end and 4-bar suspension and coilovers.
The 500hp, 502cu.in. Chevy crate engine with Ramjet injection is fed by an all new Aeromotive fuel system and stainless steel fuel tank. The engine has been mated to the Tremec 5-speed and provides unlimited go while the all new 6-piston, 14" Wildwood brakes provide plenty of whoa. You'll be cool and so will your ride thanks to the Vintage Air and the custom aluminum radiator and core. The all new 3" custom exhaust with thundering cutouts and Pypes mufflers will let everyone know you've arrived at the party!
The interior is all new but done in the classic '56 Chevy style and features an Ididit tilt wheel with Classic instruments and gauges while this black beauty rides on Billet Specialties wheels: 18" and 20" Big 'nLittles wrapped in neato Nitto rubber.
Pete 'n Jake's appraised this car's replacement cost at $92,000 nearly 7 years ago and you KNOW what's happened to hot rod prices since then! (Letter of appraisal will be included with the car.)
Invest your cash and drive it too. Owning this black beauty is WAY more fun than owning a bond or Certificate of Deposit... and it might just be a better investment!
