1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Description

For sale is a 79,500 mile fully restored to original condition 1968 Chevelle SS 396. During the restoration a gauge cluster with the rolling tachometer on it, but the original cluster is included as is the wiring harness and all the necessary components. The odometer shows 48k miles but the car has a documented 31,200 more than the odometer shows, so it is at 79,500 right now and being driven to a car show once a week. As mentioned, this is a fully restored numbers matching car and a photo of the run down of all the parts, along with the casting numbers and production dates is attached. Also attached is the original build sheet showing all the options. The grille is non original but the original that the car was born with comes with the car.The one on the car has an award affixed to it and I did not want that to be put on the original. It also has a larger fan and fan clutch due to the car being in Arizona, but the original fan and fan clutch are included. The air filter is also not original, but the original filter is included and it is used for car shows so it does not get damaged or worn. The car also had a locker installed in the rear professionally but the factory gear set comes with the car. I also have some spare parts for it such as 4 additional drive belts (very hard to find), a fuel pump, and some extra door handle backs if they are ever needed. Also attached a few photos of the awards the car has won over the years, as well as a feature in a magazine it was a part of. All the interior bits and pieces work including the windshield wipers, interior and exterior lights (including the glove box light), window cranks, seat belts, and even the warning chime when the keys are left in theignition.
