Practically all parts are new or rebuilt, including fuel lines, brake lines, fuel tank and all related items, stainless steel emergency brakes, rotors, new shocks, rebuilt trailering arms, all new correct wiring harnesses, high capacity aluminum radiator, center force clutch assembly and flywheel. Mallory Corvette tach drive distributor (8572) with MSO galvanized ignition box. Ceramic coated shorty header and original style “off road” exhaust.
This car is equipped with Z24 Chevrolet crate motor rated @ 425 HP, air condition (cold), PS, PB, and AM/FM radio. This car has break-in miles only since restoration. Upgrades include “front runner kit” with vintage air.
EXTERIOR BODY:
This vehicle was completely stripped of old finish. There are no signs of repair on any body panels (pictures provided). The body was completely cleaned from top to bottom. All hardware was removed and replaced or replated. Hardware was reinstalled using correct rivets and bolts. Example: Reinforcements for seats were replaced and re riveted as done at the factory. Seat belt mounting brackets were cleaned/ replated and reinstalled with new cables (see pictures). The body was gel-coated, blocked, primed and base coat cleared by a Standox certified repair facility. The facility was also certified by Porsche, Jaguar-Land Rover, Audi and Tesla. All exterior trim and weather stripping was replaced on doors, hood, etc. Exterior trim is new or re chromed including bumpers, front grill antenna, all turn lamps, back-up lamps, exhaust bezels, door handles, soft top latches and rear view mirror. Also included is date coded-tinted side glass and vent glasses. The windshield is new but not date coded. On reassembly of body, headlamp door assemblies were rebuilt with new motors, switches, bearings, and felts. Hardware was replaced or replated as original including correct “T3 headlamps”. Cosmetically the following was replaced or restored: Al Knoch soft top, bumpers, all turn signal assemblies, back lamps, license bezel, side sill plates, door sill plates, front grill, washer nozzles, door handles, all emblems, fuel cap and bezel.
INTERIOR:
Firewall insulation and “all” under lament was restored as original, including original style firewall and carpet padding. New carpet, door panels (note: interior of doors completely restored as original including replating of hardware, installation of felts and weatherstripping and vapor barriers). Interior items replaced or restored include: Glove box assembly, radio and speaker, seats and backs, door panels, shift console, jack compartment, door handles, horn button, dash console and rear view mirror.
