1971 Chevrolet C-10 Base Description

This Awesome Classic 71 C-10 is my shop truck and driven daily (currently licensed and tagged in Georgia with clean, clear GA title). The patina on this truck is one that some people pay 10's of thousands of dollars to obtain but this one is the real deal with over 46 years of use that shows in every paint scrape and rust spot and ding. I put this truck in all the local parades and car shows and it steels the show....everyone loves it. I will be parked in a car show next to a $100,000 show truck and everyone is checking out my shop truck and taking pictures and such and ignoring the show truck....it is that cool. The truck runs great, cranks easy and is very reliable. It has all the original sheet metal except the driver door and tailgate. The truck also has the original motor, transmission and drive train. Whether you are looking for just a super fun truck to drive and play with as it sits or the base for a serious restoration, this is the truck for you. The body and frame are extremely sound with only minimal rust in expected places (Southern Truck it entire life) and dents (see photos) and the engine is strong and solid. The transmission shifts smoothly with a good clutch. The original rally wheels and good tires set it off. it has disc brakes in front for good modern stopping power. And yes those are metal signs that have replaced rusted floor area. Overall in good condition for a well used 46 year old classic truck. The truck will need a new front windshield (old one cracked) and a new wood bed (see photo) and a seat cover. It leaks a little oil as you would expect for its age. That's it....get in drive it and have a blast. Selling dirt cheap...retiring and closing business...really hate to see it go as it is like and old friend but no where to keep it now.
