Okay, you have likely seen that there are a few Corvettes available and pricing is all over the place but you have to be very careful as the quality of these cars varies as much or more than the prices. This is NOT an 'auction' car that was greased up by some used car dealer and kicked around from car lot to car lot. This is from a private collection (two owner car), the car was literally stored in a bubble! It is 100% complete with all books, dealer Corvette package with the brochure and CD, both original keys and remotes, two sets of floor mats, glass top shade, cargo net, cargo cover, front plate finishing bezel AND the original window sticker! So, if you are looking for a cheap, sub-par quality Vette, this isn't your car. If you are looking for the cleanest condition and most desirable color combination of Torch Red over Torch Red leather AND a six speed manual transmission with H.U.D......you have found it. This car is original and (aside from the professional Llumar light window tint and the dealer installed Blackwing cold air intake) in nice, stock condition with no crazy paint schemes, ground effects kits, big ugly wheels or a bunch of hacked in stereos and electronics, performance parts etc. This car is absolutely pristine in every way, please take the time to review the 115+ photos below to fully appreciate how clean and nice this car really is, especially the several shots of the undercarriage that prove it's cleanliness and that it has never been damaged, you will even notice the original tags and markings from the factory.

The paint on this car is about as close to flawless as I have seen on a car of this vintage. There are a few hairline scuffs underneath the car on the bottom inner rocker panels that you cannot see unless you are under the car. There are no curb scuffs in the nose or rear (I have photographed every angle of the front), paint is super deep, glossy and shiny. There are no scratches and hardly even a stone chip! Glass is excellent as well showing virtually no wear, sides and rear are lightly tinted (approximately 35%) for UV protection and also it enhances the look of the car. All lights and lenses are excellent and all in good working order including the factory fog lamps. Goodyear Eagle F1 tires are 70% to the good in the front and the rears have maybe 10% remaining, enough to get you by but I would be dishonest to say they don't need to be replaced very soon. Factory high polished alloy wheels are really clean and show nicely. The lexan 'glass' top is in great shape with no weather checking or damage as well.

The interior of this car is incredibly clean. It smells of fresh leather, absolutely no tobacco smell, no musty or pet odors either. Carpets are impeccably clean throughout, the car comes with the factory matching red mats as well as a custom set of Lloyds deep plush 'Corvette' logo mats. In the rear you will find the cargo cover in the left compartment and the cargo net in the right. CD changer sits in the middle compartment and the cartridge is included. Leather is supple and soft showing hardly any wear, no discoloration or seam separation. Bolsters are excellent. The car is loaded with features including Heads Up Display, tilt w/power telescoping wheel, premium BOSE audio, dual power seats, ice cold electronically controlled driver/passenger zone A/C and much more. Also a nice touch is the custom shade fitted inside the glass top to shield you from the heat.

As you can imagine from how this car was kept, it runs and drives every bit as good as it looks. No noises, no smoke, no leaks, just pure power and performance. Clutch feels perfect, no chatter or slip and the car cruises perfectly down the freeway, no service or check engine lights either. Brakes feel good, A/C is ice cold, cruise control works as does everything else. No surprises mechanically.

I personally think the condition, cleanliness and completeness of this Corvette should easily warrant a price of $25,000 but we all know that the market does not bear that on these so I have priced the car very fairly at $21,950. Yes, that is the top part of the range but this is a top of the range car with better colors and options than most, in fact it is the only Red/Red six speed C5 available on Ebay.
