I'm looking at selling my 2000 FRC (Fixed Roof Coupe) in Nassau Blue that currently has 46,010 miles.
Aslong as I've owned it, it has always been in the garage. It's never been on a drag strip, but I did take it to Topeka a few years ago and took some laps around the road course at Heartland Park with some of the KC Area Corvette Club guys, other than that it's been no more than a daily driver, except for the last 8 years.
For those who don't know, here's a little history on the 2000Nassau Blue FRC. Needless to say, it's extremely rare! In the 2000 production run they only made a total of 2058 FRC's, and of the 2058 made, only 189 were in Nassau Blue! That's saying all 189 are still on the road, which doing some minor research on a few Corvette Forums, I've found that as leasttwo havebeen totaled. So, at minimum there are only 187 left and I can't imagine many have fewer miles than mine.
As you can see, I've upgraded the rims to the C6 chrome ZR1 option, but they are OEM in size on Goodyears with at least 90% tread life. I DO have the original OEM rims and those come with the sale of the car. Theyhave some older Kuhmo runflats that still have at least 50% of the tread left, but they are probably 8 years old. With that said, they have the 2000 OEM tire pressure sensors in them, and the ones on the car now (the ZR1's), I bought from my Dad when he sold his 2002. So, the tire pressure sensor doesn't like the '02 sensors and will show an monitor error because of that. So, you might need to swap them, if you choose to keep the ZR1 rims on.
You may have noticed the LOC on the OEM CD/radio. I just recently put a new battery in the car, and that happens sometimes when replacing or disconnecting the battery. That's an easy fix, and I can have that cleared before you pic it up. The CD player still works, and the Bose radio still pumps music just fine!
The only minor issue with this Corvette is that the OEM digital screen on the climate control system has faded. I've thought about pulling it and soldering the wires back up to fix it, but I just haven't had the time to do it. You can buy a remanufactured replacement on eBay for around $100, or pull the stock one and solder the wires back up. The actual unit still works, it's just the screen is dark.
As for extras...That's a Halltech Stinger Ram Air induction system, with the Halltech Tric Systems Magic Box! This sucks SO much air in that when you have the windows down, and the music off, you'll think you have a small turbo because of the small whistle it creates! Outside of that, I've installed red ZO6 engine covers, ZO6 mesh air covers in the nose, a Nassau Blue Momo stick shift knob and larger chrome exhaust tips.
Other than normal wear and tear, there is no actual tears in the leather seats. The car has never had a problem with the transmission or leaked a single drop of oil. I've always used Royal Purple Full Synthetic Oil on all of it's oil changes in the 11 years that I've owned it.
