1969 Chevrolet Camaro Base Coupe Description

Up for auction is a 1969 Camaro Coupe. This is a base 6 cyl. model with rare 3 speed standard column shift and manual steering. X44 on firewall trim tag. Car is mostly original, only being maintained / upgraded as needed. Has all original outer sheet metal except for cowl hood which was added during 2008 repaint, base coat / clear coat, in original color of Olympic Gold ( code 65 ). Front / rear spoilers and stripes were also added at that time. Paint is a 8 / 10 with a few minor imperfections. Only sheet metal repair done by me was the front driver floor pan ( new panel, underside finished ), inner fender under battery tray, and one spot ( 2" sq. ) on trunk floor next to spare tire hold down bracket. Engine is a 1974 350 SBC with Weiand intake, Edelbrock carb, HEI. Also has new aluminized exhaust, 3 core radiator, KYB shocks, and completely detailed engine bay. Manual drum brake system has recently been completely redone with all new components including stainless steel lines. Interior is in very good condition, mostly original, with new dash pad, sill plates, and package tray. All weatherstripping recently replaced. All controls / lights work; aftermarket radio. Trunk needs detailing and spatter paint. Includes original jack and spare rim. Tires are almost new Goodyear Regattas on stock rims; original dog dish hub caps included. Car runs, drives, and stops as it should. This is not a show car but an excellent turn key driver that can be used for local shows / cruises and / or upgraded as desired. Interested parties are encouraged / welcome to come inspect car ( have lift ) and test drive. Have transferable NYS registration in my name; titles not issued until 1973. Car sold as is, where is, NO trades. A $500 non refundable deposit is due thru PayPal within 24 hrs. of auction end; balance due within 7 days. Car will not be released to anyone until checks have cleared. Cash accepted upon pick up. Winning bidder responsible for vehicle pick up / shipping arrangements and expenses. Car is for sale locally ( $24000, reserve is less ) and auction can end at any time. Any ??? email or call Mike @ 315-768-4868.
