I have a Very Very Nice 1984 GMC C1500 Short Bed...Rust Free! This Truck is a Survivor that I am freshening up. White with Maroon Bench Panels and Carpet. 305/4bbl - Auto 350-PS-PB-AC-Tilt-Cruise- Roll Up Windows, this is a Sierra Classic, package did not get PW or PDL. Grande or Special Order. My Dad and I bought this Truck, Excuse me...Rescued this Truck from being used as a Work Truck. Was Not Beat Up or Damaged just Too Nice and Clean to be used for working. We were Told this was an Original 45K Truck. So we paid accordingly. After quite a bit of research we found that the Odometer had been rolled...Looks like Actual is @ 145K. Needless to say we were upset. But the Truck is SO Clean we Figured to make the best out of it.
This is Mostly an Original Paint Truck. The Front Fenders had to be sprayed, someone had rattle canned some touch up on them. The Hood had been painted some years ago. The Rest was then Slightly Buffed and Waxed. Looks Pretty Good. Bumpers are Nice and Straight! The Bed is not Beat...I have a Liner Ordered for it to keep it nice. New Brakes, New Gabriel Bruiser XD Truck Shocks and Hardware, (Not Car Shocks Like Most Use) Fresh Tune up, Newer Whitewall Tires and Trims. Centers are New, I like the Black GMC Centers so I put them on. Also any trim that Looked tarnished I have replaced. Had Magnaflows on it, hated the sound. Now it has Brand New Walker Quiet Flow 3s on it with new Pipes tucked under rear. (Front Pipes are also fairly new) Nice quiet Rumble that will Not drive you crazy. Replaced the Newer style steering wheel with the Original wheel from truck. Motor Starts easy and idles nicely. No Smoke, No Odd Noises. AC Blows Cold, Turns Easy and Stops. Drive this Truck Anywhere...Buy It and Drive It Home! Runs and Drives Great! Everything Works that I can see. Have driven about 1k since purchased. Still have Items on order so not completely finished. Still Waiting on Grille, DS Drip Rail Molding, Seat Cover and some Small PDR Work. (Hood Liner, Fan Switch, and Stainless Vent Visors. Have Yet to be Installed.)
Anything that has been received during the Auction but Not Currently installed will be boxed and included with the truck. Once they are Installed, it will be revised in description. Current pricing only reflects items currently installed and boxed.
Things that I am Still Checking:
Courtesy Light
Wiper Washer Works but has acted up a couple of times
Shift Indicator (Can't tell if needle needs paint or replacement)
Also the Old Tint has started to Flake, it may or may not be removed by end of sale.
A Little noise from Blower Motor, unsure if motor or maybe a leaf.
I am Not a Dealer, just a Hobby Guy. So sometimes it takes a little time for me to get everything fixed. This truck is kinda on back burner while I am finishing up a really nice 69 C10 to sell.
I am driving it a little just to shake it down. Once it is finished with All Work Completed it will be priced higher. Right Now with some items still on order it can be bought Cheaper. (Once back orders are filled and charged to me, it will increase the price. I will update as parts come in.) Please feel free to ask questions and come see the truck and drive it. No tire kickers or Joy Riders. If you do not seem serious I will not waste my time. Also No Low ballers...If you are looking for a 7500.00 truck...this isn't it! I have turned down 9K if that helps you out. The Truck has only been washed and vacuumed, has not been detailed as of yet. I do require a Deposit, If that bothers you please do not bid. I will work with anyone on most anything...But as they say "I will bend over Backwards for You...Just don't ask me to Bend Over Frontward For You!" This is not the first vehicle I have bought or sold.
