Truck underwent a frame off restoration which was completed in 2007. Every nut, bolt, and rivet were replaced using stainless steel. MechanicalThe original 231 c.i. six cylinder was replaced with a totally rebuilt and mildly modified, 1954, 235 c.i. Chevrolet six. The original 3-speed transmission was replaced with a Saginaw 4-speed and mated to the original style enclosed drive shaft. Re-built 1954, 235 c.i. Chevy 6 Cylinder (new pistons, crank, rods, mild cam, milled head, valve job). Fenton dual 1 barrel intake w/ Rochester carburetors. Fenton split exhaust manifold. Re-built Saginaw 4-speed matched to the original enclosed driveshaft. Drum brakes all the way around. Stock rear differential w/ 3.83:1 gears. 215 x 75R x15 radials on all 4-corners. Truck has been lowered 2" all the way around, added sway bar on the front. All new brakes and hardware. Runs, drives and stops great. Exterior Very little if any body work was performed. All the metal on the truck is original and it has only 500 miles on it since completion. Taken to car shows and cruise in's. Stock frame media blasted and painted with all new suspension components. Color is PPG "Copperhead" in 2-stage urethane. Stainless was re polished. Re-chromed bumpers and grill (door handles are original). All glass is great, totally refinished bed.InteriorStock bench seat recovered. Added oil pressure and volt meter gauges. Retained stock shifter and tilt steering column.
