1978 Chevrolet Corvette Description

1978 Chevy Corvette. Car is in need of full restoration. Engine is not matching numbers and needs a rebuild due to a blown head gasket. I replaced the gasket but it started leaking again. It looks like it could be a crate engine it is black with alum. heads.I do not know if mileage iscorrect the title says exempt.Rear left caliper needs rebuilding it is dragging. Rear body mount is rusted and should be replaced. Lights are stiff and only go up and down manually. Last week a guy bought another car of mine and looked at the Corvette. He shut the door and the window must have been in a bind and I didn't notice. The next day I went out and it was shattered. The rest of the glass is good. Drivers floor pan is rusty with a couple of Quarter sized holes in it. Car needs paint. Paint that was on there has been sanded down giving it a satin or primer look. Car would best be used as a hot rod.

Now for the good. Car has a twin turbo hi rise hood on it. It also has some fender vents(not vented) that are quite rare. Tires have no miles but are getting old. Th-350 Transmission was rebuilt before I bought it and has a shift kit. Worked fine last time it was driven. The rearend has a Brute strength cover.

I have Two kids in college and One more going next year. That is why I am selling.Car may sell locally before auction ends.
