2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Turbo Wagon 4-Door Description

Here is my 2004 PT Cruiser GT turbo. I really love this car, and I hate to sell it, but I really miss driving a stick.

This is the turbocharged high-output 2.4L 4cyl motor (SRT-4 driveline) with a 4 speed shiftable (yes, shiftable) automatic. A few things about it:

-It has a muffler delete. Since it is a turbocharged car, it is NOT overbearingly loud AT ALL. It actually is a perfect volume and sounds AMAZING. It does not affect emissions or inspections.

-The interior is black leather with dark grey suede-ish centers and is really clean, no smoke or pets that I know of. The only flaw is some small tears in the driver's seat.

-Other than the muffler delete, nothing has been done as far as modifications go. What I HAVE done is: Replaced both tie rod ends, lower control arms, intake manifold and valve cover gaskets, cleaned and painted both the intake manifold and valve cover, spark plugs, front brakes, all the brake pads, complete timing belt, water pump, and tensioner replacement (big and expensive job), etc... lots of general maintenance, and the car runs like a top!

-The car is not perfect. It has its “beauty marks”, but it still looks amazing, the underside is very clean! There are some spots of sun fade in the paint, but nothing on the body in particularly bad or ugly. Just understand that the car is 12 years old and was daily driven for the most part, therefore it will have its imperfects. But it runs and looks great!

Seriously a fun car, I love it so much. My only reason for trying to sell is I really want to have a manual transmission again. But I must say, the shiftable automatic has been a neat thing to have. When I do sell, I will be looking for one just like it with a manual, and I'm even willing to drive hours away for one if that tells you anything.
