2003 Orange PT Cruiser Turbo Dream Cruiser Series 2 for PARTS -- not running

2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Edition Dream Cruiser Series 2 Description

This is a relisting due to nonpayment of $1522 the first time it was listed. I've been driving the Series 2 Dream Cruisers since I bought one new in 2003 and then sold it last year to buy another identical one with lower mileage. So I've been driving the Series 2 Tangerine Pearl Dream Cruisers for 13 years and now I cannot believe "my baby" died due to sudden overheating causing a crack in the block (cylinder #3). I cannot afford to fix it, but my loss can be your gain as this is a great car for parts with it's low mileage of 62,700. The engine has been partially disassembled to diagnose the issue and will NOT be put back together. ALL partsare included and are carefully boxed and bagged. No Delivery- Pickup only in Delaware. Body is very good with NO rust, but a couple of minor dings. Paint scratch on pass. rear fender. Headlights are clear. Wheels look great, but there is some chrome flaking. Tires are good. Color coordinated interior is excellent with heated power seats for both driver and passenger. A/C works fine. Turbo, radiator/fan assembly, etc. all work and are clean. Color coordinated interior with rich leather, heated, power seats for both passenger and driver. Special color coordinated factory front floor mats with orange "Dream Cruiser" lettering. Rear seats are not heated or power. This is a nice car and a true collectors dream -- hoping that someone will put it back on the road and it doesn't get parted out.
NOTE: Front bumper, grill, radiator/fan, head, etc., and all other parts are bagged up and currently stored inside the cargo area of this Cruiser.
Special Numbered Production Dash Plaque with "Dream Cruiser Series 2 # 1128". Only 2000 of this special edition Dream Cruiser Series 2 were produced, so here's a good opportunity to get those special replacement parts. You can send me requests for specific parts and I'll get back in touch with you if the car has not sold when the listing ends next week.
I had the car towed back to my house from the repair shop this week and have easy access to it if there are any additional questions or pictures needed. Some pictures are from before the breakdown. The night time picture is from my first Dream Cruiser, not the car I'm selling, but just about exactly the same overall with the exception of a few chrome accents.
P.S. There was a low mileage '03 Series 2 Dreamer on Auto Trader recently at $11,800.
