I am selling my beautiful 1929 Mercedes Benz SSK Gazelle built in 1979 by the Classic Motor Carriages factory. It includes a custom made black convertible top with side windows. This is a beautiful car and a lot of fun to drive; definitely a head turner when you're passing cars on the road. I wish I didn't have to sell it, but I am moving and unfortunately I cannot take this car with me. So to whoever winds up winning this car, I just hope you'll have as much fun as I did in it as it deserves someone who will take good care of it. I bought this car because it is made of high quality fiberglass (boat quality) with marine hardware, this has removed the problem of body rust from the equation of owning of an antique car which this car is. The engine is a ford kent crossflow 1600 cc easy to service, over the years I have just tuned the engine, replaced a seal in the carburetor and added a manual choke. You do not have the headache of converters sensors etc, It only has a pvc valve. I have included two service manuals and tune up and carb kits and other parts which I have never used. The frame is a factory built frame. This car was factory built righ, NOT a garage job. This car is a FUN machine that always takes me back to the time I first got behind the wheel of an automobile.
