***To answer some questions and add some info:
The rust issues - both of the front front fenders where they meet the body are rusted enough that the previous owner had wired tied them to the frame. This is a common rust area for these cars. HOWEVER, I have a pair of solid 67.5 replacement fenders to be included with the sale. Although the parking lights on the car currently were new replacements replaced within my ownership, I am including a pair of NEW Nissan parking lamps, as well as gaskets to go with the replacement fenders. The next major area is the passenger's side trunk well which has holes....driver's side is fully intact. There is one rust "bubble" covered with the paint you see on the driver's side of the trunk lid.
The hard top on the car does have the 67.5 latches and does latch to the car. The front seal of the top doesnt seal fully. I have TWO soft top frames, and one NEW black soft top (not mated to frame) that will also be included with the sale. One of the frames has latches to match. Both frames have not been fitted to the car. I am unsure if the new top will fit without some work...I do not see a hole to insert the rear bar to. A full set of soft top hardware will be included with the sale.
I am unsure of the offset of the Rota wheels. Anyone who knows these cars will tell you that each individual car is a bit particular as to which wheel offsets fit. These Rota wheels were bought off the ebay vendor who sells them. I originally bought one full set, and then had to return two to get a different offset. Obviously the ones on the car fit fine.
The rear shackles are "flipped" and that is why the rear is higher. Its a simple fix if you would prefer the lower rear (stock) look. The rear leaf springs ARE the stiffer springs from a 1966 Roadster. These are the most desirable rear springs as even racers will tell you the Competition leaf springs are considered too stiff.
When ALL 4 shocks were replaced, a combination of NEW rubber bushings and NEW urethane bushings were used.
Again, the car is almost 50 years old, the interior is 90% complete. It is sold AS IS with no warranty. Ask all questions BEFORE bidding.
