1967 Datsun 1600 Description

1967 Low windshield Datsun 1600 Roadster. Very decent old car with fresh engine and recent clutch.

This was an enthusiast restoration and was done to a good standard but not a concours car by any stretch. The car has good paint but it is an older paint job and has some flaws and some minor rust bubbling, please see the pictures. I have tried to show all the issues with the car top to bottom. There is some rust in front of both rear wheels in the rocker, this is the worst area of the car and yet it does not keep the car from being a very good drivable car. The actual frame is very solid and there is no indication that it was ever rusty or that the car has experienced any major damage. While there is a soft top frame there is no soft top. There is a non factory aftermarket hard top on the car at the moment as well. The interior was largely re done again as an enthusiast restoration and it was done reasonably well but not show quality. There is some rust on the chrome which while not horrible will need to get redone over the course of time. Tires are quite good and have lots of miles left on them. The car starts easily and the transmission shifts smoothly. I am happy to help arrange shipping to any where in the world but that expense will be that of the new owner.
