1966 Dodge Coronet Description
This is a 1966 440 convertible that has gone through an extensive restoration. It was built to be driven anywhere and everywhere. The 440 looks stock but has aluminum heads from 440 source, its an 1966 HP block with forged pistons steel crank, up dated ignition and electronics. Its reliable runs great hold gears when manually shifting, shifts hard with a Dynamic transmission, perfomer intake and a holley carb. 355 gears powder coated rear end and a hemi 1800 rpm converter. 3" exahust with HP exhaust manifolds that have been jet hot coated, Dyno max mufflers. Top was installed new its in good shape and goes up and down like new. All seals were replaced on the top and windows all seal properly. Car rides on bilsteins with a firm feel sway bar (not pictured), quick ratio pitman arm as well as all new bushings, brakes, brake lines and fuel lines, gas tank is new as well. There is an aluminum radiator painted black and electric fan as back up when the tempertures get above 185. The operating tempertures never been an issue. Motor is tied to the frame for maximum torque transfer. The front wheels are stock 14"x 6" the rear wheels have been stretched by Stockton and are 15"x 8". Car hasn't been to the track.
