1995 Dodge Ram 1500 Description

Runs good and transmission is solid. Some rust as can be seen in pics. Lots new, including tires,Pittmanarm, spark plugs, brakes with new rotors and calipers in front, new drums and wheel cylinders in rear and a new master cylinder. New shocks all around too. New Kenwood HD FM radio with CD player and new speakers in front.The original radio with cassette works fine and will be included in case you'd like to go back to that. All the new stuff has been done in the last few thousand miles, with receipts.Tonneau cover was purchased new this past summer.
The stuff not working is the A/C, which worked last year and after storage for the winter, it didn't work. It's not a charge issue, although it may need one. The compressor clutch is not engaging. I think it may be electrical. The cruise doesn't work. I think the unit died, but there is a small vacuum line to it that is broken. That may fix it, but I didn't need it so I didn't work on it. I used this truck to haul stuff back and forth from my cabin and stored it in the winter. The emergency brake must be way out of adjustment, as it barely engages and doesn't hold. This should have been part of the brake job, but they said they couldn't adjust it. Possibly the cable is stretched out? The horn doesn't work. I'm told the relay engages but power does not get to the horn. Related to the A/C maybe with an issue in the relay box transferring power? Pretty minor stuff, but you should know about it. There are a couple dents in the hood on the passenger side near the windshield. Paint is so so, and there is rust. See pics showing bottom of driver's door, rocker panels and wheel wells. Rear bumper also. The headliner material is off, but the insulation foam is there. I didn't mind since the insulation was all I cared about, but you may want to cover it. The last pic is of the headliner. It also has the sliding back window, which the topper has also.
The truck is 2 wheel drive. Interior is in good condition. Has 156,xxx miles. Runs and drives fine. Uses about a half quart of oil in 1,000 miles is my best guess because I've added oil rarely. I changed it last summer and then again in the spring when I brought it home and again this summer. So it goes about 2,500 - 3,000 miles before I change it. I have used it to bring my daughters stuff back and forth to college, about 175 miles away, and no problems.
I recently retired and decided to just have one vehicle since I don't drive to work anymore, so I traded my Prius on a new 2016 Ram 1500 making this one is available.
